Always making improvements! In the past couple of years, our tech equipment has been updated and physically adjusted to accommodate our changing needs.  Our audio mixing board has been moved downstairs into the back of the Worship Center for a better sound location. We've also added some new video equipment and are planning for an upgrade of our lighting systems.

LIGHTS! CAMERA! SOUND! PROJECTION!  West Side strives to make use of current technology to enhance the worship experience for all who attend here. During Sunday morning services, we employ a professional sound system, lighting board, audio/visual recording equipment and MediaShout presentation software.  These things are also engaged on a larger scale when needed to enhance special productions put on by the music and drama ministries. High speed duplication units are used to provide CD and DVD copies of each Sunday service to visitors, shut-ins and regular attendees. Recordings are also available through our A/V page on this website.  We're looking to train up at least two volunteers to join in the rotation for each of the following areas: audio, video, lighting and recording. All you need is a willingness to learn and serve, and a desire to do it with excellence. Additionally, for funeral and wedding services, graduations and other occasional events, mid-week sound and video technicians are needed. If you have a flexible schedule, an ear for music and the ability to focus on a task, we'd love to hear from you. We can train you to help out when some of our regular technicians are unavailable. Anyone interested in learning to serve in our Tech ministry is invited to talk to Pastor Josh or one of our current team members.
