Purpose Statement: To help senior citizens minister to each other using their wisdom, spiritual gifts and time. FOCAL POINT: 1. Prayer 2. Visitation (shut-ins as well as the elderly) 3. Bible Studies 4. "First Wednesdays at West Side" events (check the church calendar for meeting times) 5. Fall Harvest Banquet (outreach) 6. April Spring Banquet 7. 4th of July Celebrations (outreach) 8. Cross-generational gatherings and fellowship

There are over 175 adults over the age of 55 who attend West Side Baptist Church. Many of these people have served faithfully in the past and still have a burden for reaching the world for Christ.     The Senior Ministry Team brings together the various efforts that are in place so as to provide structure and increase opportunities to serve. Through the provision of "First Wednesday" and other senior events, there are opportunities to reach out to unsaved peers.  Current study in the book of Matthew. Held in the Senior Ministry Center at 10:30 am on Sundays during the 2nd service. Everyone is welcome!
